How to Import contacts to Lotus Notes from Excel
To Import contacts to Lotus Notes from Excel Workbook, First, a user need to convert Excel (XLS, XLSX) contact information into VCF file format, supported by Lotus Notes application. Follow the below steps properly :
1 - Launch Excel to VCF Converter
Download & Run the Excel to VCF Software. Click on Browse File option and just Locate the Excel file (XLS/XLSX) in Configured system.
2 - Preview Contact Information:
When Excel file properly configured within software, user can view Excel file details.
3 - Mapping Functions
Now Map the field attributes of Excel File with the vCard File attributes.

6 - Launch Lotus Notes Application
Now Start Lotus Notes Email Client and Provide Username and Password Credentails to Login to your account.
7 - Contact Section
Now Go to Contact section to add Excel contact to your Lotus Notes profile.
8 - Import Contacts
In account interface, Click on "More" option and select "Import Contacts" from the Drop-down menu.
9 - Browse VCF File
Now Browse the exported VCF File file from the above conversion process and click on "Open" button.
10 - Add Contacts
If number of imported Excel contacts into Lotus notes is greater then 250 contacts then a pop appear with message-box, do you want to continue or not . Click on "Yes" button.
11 - Import Option
User can Preview contacts before importing into Notes Account using "Next" option. Now Click on "Import" option to transfer Excel contacts to Lotus Notes Application.
13 - View Excel Contacts
After sometime, you can able to view imported contacts in Address Book of Lotus Notes Account.
